The above Big Bufo Bass is on display at the Museum of Making Music in
Carlsbad, CA. The instrument has bocote back, sides and headplate. Top is
engelmann spruce and rosette is spalted koa. Fingerboard, bridge and
binding are macassar ebony. Neck is mahogany and macassar.

'Ukulele Guild of Hawai'i
Exhibition for 2007. This
instrument has primavera top, back
and sides. Macassar ebony bridge,
fingerboard and binding. Neck is
primavera and macassar. The
hibiscus soundhole is carbon fiber
reinforced and sound provided via
K&K Sound Pure Bass pickup.
High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.
Rare earth magnet latching door on
back for ease of string replacement.

was on display at The

Rosette is amboyna burl and
binding is curly koa.
